Scott Pilgrim Movie Poster

I'm very excited about the upcoming Scott Pilgrim movie starring Michael Cera and decided it could be fun to make my own poster for it. It seemed appropriate to recreate the cover of the first book. It's an iconic and eye grabbing image.

Painted in Corel Painter over the course of a week, maybe around 20 hours total time.

Name and character are copyrighted by Bryan Lee O'Malley.

~~Aug. 2010 update, I forgot to upload this earlier, but I made some adjustments once official movie promotional images started coming out. Shifted some colors a bit for movie accuracy and added a halftone pattern to mimic some of the visual cues from the trailer.

Oh, and go see this movie! It is incredible.
