And judging from how much better these have turned out compared to my pencil and paper drawings, there's definitely some advantages to doing them digitally.

Thanks very much, I really appreciate it. I'm planning on trying some color drawings soon. I thought I'd start out with charcoal when I was trying to get my footing in Corel Painter.

Oh, and the trick I've discovered with hair(at least for my methods)..is that there is no trick. It just takes a good eye, lot of brush strokes and a lot of patience and time.
